Community Enhancement Fund

 

The Taralga Wind Farm Community Enhancement Fund provides financial contributions to local community projects and initiatives - such as equipment purchases, facility construction, renovation/rehabilitation projects, new programs or special funding that will enhance the community's quality of life and well-being.

The Fund commenced in 2016 and is managed by a committee comprising two community representatives, two Upper Lachlan Shire Council representatives and a wind farm representative.

 

The Fund delivers an annual contribution of $127,500 to the local area during its operational life, and is managed in accordance with the Fund’s Terms of Reference, available on the Upper Lachlan Shire Council website here.

 

The community representatives of the CEF committee were selected through late 2015 and early 2016. If you are a member of the local community and are interested in being on the committee, please get in touch and we will continue to keep you informed about the process.
